1. An exhaust gas silencer with a multi-part exhaust pipe (1, 2, 3) passing through the silencer chambers (I, II, III) in the silencer housing, the part of the said exhaust pipe opening into the silencer housing (5) being connected to the silencer chambers (I, II, III) via a plurality of bores and to the rear end chamber (III) via its outlet, the central part of the said exhaust pipe (return pipe 2) diverting the gas stream from the rear end chamber (III) back into the front end chamber (I), and the part (3) of the exhaust pipe leading out of the silencer casing comprising a nozzle in at least one silencer chamber (I, II, III), which nozzle is connected to the condensate collection on the bottom side of the silencer casing (5) via an aspiration aperture, characterised in that at least one return pipe (2) is disposed substantially parallel near to the bottom side portion (3) of the exhaust pipe leading out of the silencer housing (5), and in that the return pipe has a continuous perforation line (13) in its longitudinal axis, which perforation line (13) faces the region of the basin-like hollow (7) in the bottom side portion of the silencer housing (5) in such a manner that some of the recycled gas stream is discharged from the return pipe (2) through the perforation line (13) in the direction of the condensate collected at the aspiration apertures (6). |
