PURPOSE:To obtain the blow molding process of a hollow formed item, the forming of which is easy, by a method wherein an interior part is hung from the core of a blow molder with resin ropes, each of which is, at the same time, closed by a pipe section. CONSTITUTION:Under the conditions that molds 5 and 6 are parted from each other and resin ropes 12 are fixed to a core 1 and to the floor part 11 of a blow molder so as to hold in the air from above and below a baffle plate 9, which is formed in predetermined dimensions and to the upper and lower ends of which resin pipe sections 13 are respectively fixed so as to insert the ropes 12 therein in order to surround, a parison 4 is produced by extruding thermally melted thermoplastic resin from a conical mold gap 3 between the core 1 and a die 2 by the predetermined length at the outer peripheral part, which surrounds the ropes 12, the pipe sections 13 and the baffle plate 9. After that, the flash part of the parison 4 is pinched with a clamp arm 14 under the mold clamping state developed by putting the molds 5 and 6 close to each other in order to obtain a hollow formed item by feeding air in the parison 4. As a result, the wall thickness is stabilized and the forming can be done easily. |
