In order to obtain more advantageous spreading of liquids on surfaces, for example directional means of combat vehicles, in the use of liquid-bearing projectiles, it is proposed that an explosive charge 8 is positioned in association with or in the liquid container 7 of the projectile. On impact of the projectile, the explosive charge is made to explode, the liquid to be broken up into drops by the explosion and the drops to be carried to the surfaces by the shock waves of the explosion. Also proposed, in particular for use against active armour, is a shaped-charge projectile equipped with a liquid container 7 provided with a separate explosive charge 8 for the liquid container. This explosive charge has an ignition member 9 which is positioned at a distance in front of an ignition member 6 belonging to the shaped charge. <IMAGE> |
