The invention relates to an arrangement for transmitting pressure forces from a primary force source 1 to one or more secondary force sources in the form of piston/cylinder mechanisms 3, 3' with pressure medium chambers which communicate with the primary force source via a pressure medium-conveying line system 2. The primary force source consists of a piston/cylinder mechanism 1 which comprises, in addition to a cylinder 6 and, in this, a reciprocating piston 10 with associated piston rod 13, a mechanical spring 18 which is positioned on that side of the piston opposite the pressure medium chamber 11 of the mechanism and which, in a compressed state, tends to press the piston into the pressure medium chamber.
