<p>PURPOSE:To prevent malfeasant use by a third party and burglary and stealing including the software of a computer from being performed by employing such constitution that a normal system power source supply path is not formed and a system operation is disabled until a specific circuit connection component (external connector) attached on only a valid user or installed at a specific part is connected to a connection port provided on a computer main body in a portable computer easy to transport. CONSTITUTION:This computer is provided with such feature that a power source supply path 32 can be activated and a system operation can be performed by providing the connection port 41 provided with open terminals 41a, 41b interposed in the power source supply path 32 and the connectors 42a, 42b to be connected to the open terminals 41a, 41b of the connection port 41, and providing the external connector 42 for which a signal path 43 is connected between the connectors 42a, 42b, and inserting the external connector 42 into the connection port 41.</p> |
