<p>PURPOSE:To form the stone for the public works by melting a spent asphalt mixture at a specified temp., then adding specified amts. of glass, plastics, stone, scrap metal and caustic alkali, kneading the mixture and compacting the kneaded material. CONSTITUTION:The waste oil 4 in a melting tank 5 is heated to 160-300 deg.C, a waste asphalt mixture is charged into the tank and melted, and a spent heat- resistant resin such as PP is charged, as required, into the tank. The spent asphalt mixture melt, etc., are transferred to a kneading case 11 through a discharge screw 28, and 10-15wt.% of the spent plastics 35 and 1-2wt.% of the additive 16 such as Ca(OH)2 and NaOH are supplied. The admixture is heated to 110-270 deg.C, the waste spent asphalt mixture melt 34, spent plastics 35 and additive 16 are kneaded by a kneading screw 10, and the liberated poisonous gas is neutralized and removed. Further, broken stone, glass and heavy scrap metal are added and kneaded, the kneaded material is extruded and compacted by a compacting machine 18 to obtain the stone 19 for public works having a specified shape and having >=1.7 sp.gr.</p> |
