PURPOSE:To provide a charger for a small-sized motor operated vehicle in which an overcharging can be avoided when a battery is charged in a state that a discharge amount is small. CONSTITUTION:The charger for a small-sized motor operated vehicle comprises discharge amount integrating means 11 for integrating a discharge amount from a battery 7 after charging, and specified discharge amount detecting means 12 for comparing an integrated discharge amount detected by the means 11 with a predetermined discharge amount to detect whether or not the integrated discharge amount is a predetermined discharge amount or more. The charger further comprises charge possibility discriminating means 14 for inhibiting charging of the battery 11 until the integrated discharge amount exceeds the predetermined discharge amount based on a detected result of the means 12 to allow charging of the battery when the integrated discharge amount exceeds the predetermined discharge amount. |
