摘要 PURPOSE:To surely keep off any erroneous ignition timing control delaying due to a valve seating noise in the valve system of an engine with a valve variable driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This knocking noise avoider is provided with a valve variable driving control means A1 selecting a valve system an operating or nonoperating state conformed to each valve operating mode and a knocking sensor 21 outputting a vibro-signal K. In addition it has an ignition timing calculating means A2 calculating both of timing control delaying value thetak and target ignition timing thetaadv and outputting them to an ignition driving circuit, a reignition detecting period timer counting a reignition detecting period, and a timing control delaying value setting means A4 issuing a timing control delaying command of the set timing control delaying value to the ignition timing calculating means A2. Likewise, it is further provided with a noise eliminating period timer counting a noise eliminating period if a seating noise frequent mode is detected, and a noise knock avoiding control means A6 clearing the reignition detecting period timer at the time of count completion of the noise eliminating period.
