<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a shank from breaking from a tiewing when the shank is bent, by providing a longer shank and a head to a hook connected to the gingival tiewing, and forming them into one body through making the head have a proximal/distal width wider than the shank and a lip side/tongue side depth deeper than the shank. CONSTITUTION: A hook 26 connected with a tiewing 20 is provided to a dental corrective bracket 10 including the tiewing 20 expanding from the main body 14. The hook 26 includes a long shank 28 and a head 30, and the head 30 has a wider proximal/distal width than the shank's proximal/distal width of the shank 28 and a deeper lip side/tongue side's depth than that of the shank 28. The hook 26 and the tiewing 20 are formed in one body when a machine- finishing operation is performed, and the shank 28 includes a roundness 32 integrally connected to the tiewing 20 and a roundness 34 integrally connected to the head 30. When the head is seen toward the lip side, the head includes a cylindrical surface 36 expanding toward the occlusal reference surface of the bracket 20 as the vertical axis being the center.</p> |
