<p>PURPOSE:To reset an idler gear of the swing gear device into a neutral position without using a tension lever. CONSTITUTION:When a reel motor is forwardly rotated by a control part prior to a loading operation, the swing gear device 2 is turned, so that the idler gear 4 is separated from a supply reel base 6b, and is abutted against an idler stopper 73, and hence reset into the neutral position to be not turned into a position where the idler gear 4 is meshed with a take-up reel base 6a. When a magnetic tape is drawn out by a post of a shuttle 262, the shuttle 262 and the idler stopper 73 are released from their abutting against each other, and the idler stopper 73 is retreated from a turning course of the swing gear device 2 so that the idler gear 4 is meshed with the take-up reel base 6a.</p> |
