<p>PURPOSE: To obtain regenerated pulp having high whiteness free from a sad color by a flotation method by using a flocculant capable of flocculating ultrafine inorganic pigment and carbon particles contained in printing ink of old paper raw material into proper sizes. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing recycled paper from printed old paper of newspapers and magazines, old paper raw material is macerated, soaked, deinked and mixed with carbon and pigment flocculating yeast to flocculate fine inorganic pigment and carbon particles contained in ink. The flocculated materials are separated and removed by flotation to give high-quality pulp, which is made into paper.</p> |
