METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR TESTING DIGITAL RADIO FREQUENCY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for testing a digital circuit and a radio circuit. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a digital controller 14, a base band processor 20, a radio frequency transmitter 24 and a radio frequency receiver 34 and the digital radio frequency system is tested by a boundary scan test method. The test pattern is down-loaded via a boundary scan test access port. Test signals with different test patterns are down-loaded to the base band processor 20 by executing the test for the radio frequency transmitter 24 and the radio frequency receiver 34. In order to allow the radio frequency transmitter 24 to transmit a radio frequency signal, the test pattern is given to the radio frequency transmitter 24. In order to confirm the operation of the radio frequency transmitter 24, the base band processor 20 processes a 1st digital signal stream.
