PURPOSE: To reduce an amount of plastic deformation of a hole part of a cover body, to eliminate the positional dislocation of a stator shaft in the axial direction even when it is at a high temperature, and to prevent the reduction of press fit range. CONSTITUTION: A cover body 12 is fixed to a casing 18 of automatic transmission 16, and is formed to have a hole port 12a at an axis part and molded with the material of AC2B. A surface of the hole part 12a has hardness 90 HB or the more through solution heat treatment for three hours at the temperature of 500 deg.C and tempered for four hours at the temperature of 180 deg.C. A stator shaft 14, which supports a stator 22a of a torque converter 22, is made of steel and press fitted to the hole part 12a of the cover body 12. |
