<p>PURPOSE: To easily make an operation even in the case of a complicated menu structure when the operation is conducted while observing a menu of a display device. CONSTITUTION: This processing unit is provided with an operation pad 6 selecting an optional item among plural items displayed on a display device 4 through its operation and a CPU 9 to display information relating to the selected item superimposingly onto a commanding image to command an area of the selected items onto the display device 4 via a video display processor 11 and a VRAM 12, and when an operation is conducted while observing a menu image of the display device 4, the item is commanded and the content of the item is explained to allow the user to easily and surely recognize a succeeding operation procedure.</p> |
