摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the private network delay time evaluation method and device in which a calculation amount required for design of a private network is reduced and a line speed of a frame relay network is calculated at a high speed by estimating a size and a wait time of a packet mass arrival size so as to decide the service rate of a frame relay. SOLUTION: A mass arrival size of packets is estimated by approximating the mass arrival size with an IPP model expressed by using a relation of a period without any traffic in the size estimate process S1 and the wait time estimate process 2 to estimate a wait time based on the IPP model. Then a service rate of a frame relay to satisfy the wait time estimated by the wait time estimate process S2 is decided in the service rate calculation process S3. Thus, the design of a private network including burst traffic is attained to reduce the calculation amount required for the design and the method and device for evaluating the private network delay time is obtained in which the line speed of the frame relay network is calculated at a high speed.
