The engine is used for driving stationary machines. Thetechnical problem about the avoidance of the unfavourable loadingof the arm on which the piston force acts in the formation of therotative motion has been solved. The engine has a piston (3) whichby means of an operating connecting rod (5) is connected to aconverter of the reciprocating motion into rotative motion.Converter (7) is periodically in contact with pulley (20) mountedto an outlet shaft (21) by means of a mobile unit. An auxiliaryconnecting rod (17) assembled to a crankshaft (19) is assembled tothe converter (7).
