A presentation or placement unit for a medical-technical work-place and including a holding device (H) fitted with a carrier arm (12) on which is arranged a storage tray/shelf (11) provided with various removable and mutually exchangeable receptacle devices (17-21) for the instruments (22-26) of medical-technical apparatuses (G1-G6). A connection unit (13) is provided for connection of the instruments (22-26) of the medical-technical apparatus (G1-G6) currently joined to the connection unit (13), in which the connection unit has more terminals/connections (27) than the storage tray/shelf (11) has receptacle devices (17-21). More specifically, the connection unit has connections or terminals for electric- and/or compressed-air and/or gas-usage and/or optical-instruments (17-21).
