<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil from stagnating in a communication passage between a crank chamber including a solenoid valve and an intake chamber. SOLUTION: In a variable displacement compressor provided with a solenoid valve 19 for controlling a second communication passage 20 by an external, signal so that it may be opened and closed on the way of the second communication passage 20 for communicating a crank chamber 3 and an intake chamber 13 with each other, a passage extending from a crank chamber side opening part of the second communication passage 20 to a solenoid valve inlet side pressure chamber 20a, and a passage extending from a solenoid valve outlet side pressure chamber 20b to an intake chamber side opening part are installed in the positions lower than the contact position of a valve element of the solenoid valve 19 and a valve seat. Moreover, a pressure control valve 16 for controlling a first communication passage 18 so that it may be opened and closed is provided on the way of the first communication passage 18 for communicating the crank chamber 3 and an intake chamber 13 with each other. When the solenoid valve 19 is closed, the differential pressure between the crank chamber 3 and the intake chamber 13 is adjusted by the pressure control valve 16 to change the tilt angle of a swash plate, and the piston stroke is changed to control the discharge capacity. When the solenoid valve 19 is opened, the piston stroke is maximized regardless of the opening and closing state of the pressure control valve 16.</p> |
