PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch kit having a function of extending a piping, a power circuit and a control signal line which enables construction of a multiple air-conditioning system by connecting a plurality of branch kits sequentially. SOLUTION: Two indoor units are connected in a branching manner to a branch kit 2, and flow variable valves 26A and 26B, ports 27A, 27B, 28A and 28B for connection of refrigerant pipings and a control part 22 constituted of a microcomputer are mounted on the kit. Moreover, ports 20 and 21 for connection of the refrigerant piping for extension are provided thereon and they are connected to common piping from an outdoor unit and used also for connection of the pipings for extension in the case when extension-expansion is made to another branch kit. Besides, the kit is constituted of a branch board 23 which has a relay microcomputer of the branch kit for inputting and outputting a control signal and whereon a circuit for this control signal and a power circuit are mounted practically. The branch kit 2 has the piping ports for extension, the power circuit and the control signal line in this way. Since only few and short pipings are needed and the outdoor and indoor units can be designed discretely in this constitution, a burden on the design is alleviated. |
