PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording/reproducing device capable of preventing tape damage at the time of chucking between a tape and a post during tape loading. SOLUTION: By regulating the height between a first arm 7 engaged with a sliding member 5 and a second arm 13 engaged with the first arm 7 to be freely rotated by a height regulating part 14 provided in the second arm 13, the inclination of the sliding member 5 slid on a loading rail 4 is reduced, and tape damage at the time of chucking a tape 1 by a post 9 on the sliding member 5 is prevented.
