摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size, weight flowing resistance of intake air and a manufacturing cost for intertial supercharging intake manifold composed of comparatively long branch pipe independently formed in each cylinder of a multicylinder internal combustion engine, a common flange connecting ends of one sides of the branch pipes to the internal combustion engine, and a surge tank to which the remaining ends of the branch pipes are connected. SOLUTION: A common flange 15 and a surge tank 10 are integrally formed of hard synthetic resin. Branch pipes are also made of hard synthetic resin. Each pipe is bent such that one end of the pipe is horizontally directed, while the other end is directed upward. The horizontally directed end is fitted into an attaching hole formed on the common flange 15, while the upward directed end is fitted into an attaching hole formed on a lower surface of the surge tank.</p>
