PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet motor having a stator core which facilitates positioning at a starting up of its rotor. SOLUTION: In the peripheral brim of a stator core 6 outside a rotor inserting hole 3, a pair of cutouts 7a, 7b which enable concentration of magnetic flux with an angle interval of 180 deg. as against the rotor inserting hole 3 are formed, and a pair of slits 8a, 8b which are connected to the rotor inserting hole 3 with an angle interval of about 90 deg. respectively from the positions of the cutouts 7a, 7b and lower density of the magnetic field of a rotor 2 are formed on the side of the rotor inserting hole 3, respectively. |
