PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation that style data recorded in a disk are set in an electronic musical instrument, and to reproduce various style while suppressing the used recording region of the RAM of the instrument to be small. SOLUTION: A direct region which stores one style data, and a reading buffer which stores one section information, are set in a RAM 3. One style data read from a disk of an external storage device 4 are written into the direct region and one section information of the style data of the direct region is written into the reading buffer. Then, a style reproducing (an automatic accompaniment) is conducted based on the section information of the reading buffer. By the change of a section, new section information is read from the style data of the direct region and the information is written into the reading buffer. In a style reproducing, one selected style data are read from a disk and written into the direct region only by the operations of a disk direct switch 64 and a style selection switch 65 and the data are written into the direct region. |
