<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce image fouling due to matching operation without reducing the printing speed of an image forming device by controlling a matching means so as to perform matching operation at every receipt of a plurality of sheets in a bin unit by a control means. SOLUTION: After receiving a final sheet of a first document in a bin, a controlmeans makes a stepping motor 218 ON to operate a laterally matching means 34. Matching operation is settled, until the first sheet of a next document is received in the bin, namely, within the preparation time of the next document. In this way, the matching operation is performed, after discharging all the sheets of one document, in short, at every receipt of two or more sheets. Hereby, the drying time or the fixing time of ink can be sufficienly insured, and image fouling can be controlled. Because the preparation time required for printing is utilized, printing speed can be prevented from lowering.</p> |
