PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object management device which can specify common objects limited to only a specific page range and decrease the input man-hour for objects. SOLUTION: To change an independent property into a common property, the number of pages which are currently edited is stored as a variable P1 and the object ID of a document object which is currently edited is stored as a variable B1 (S401). A document object with an object ID=B1 is read in from document object data 152 (S406). The position property and outward shape property of the document object data which are currently edited are set to 'common' and the derivation property is set to 'secondary object derivation presences' (S407). Object IDs are newly added one by one within a specified page range of a page object table 153.
