PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barbecue grill that has an igniting implement for easy ignition of charcoal and the like, permits easy and instantaneous transfer, for use, of the ignited charcoal and the like onto a grill body, and is collapsible into a compact platelike form offering convenient carrying and storage when not used. SOLUTION: A metal plate assembly 12 having a pair of legs 20 and constructing a grill body connects at each end edge to one end edge of a metal plate 14 in a foldable relation. Both metal plates 14 are designed to form a columnar body with a square opening section when their opening end edges are opposed and joined separably. Both metal plates 14 have handles 21 on their external surface. A square net body 17 is pivotally mounted at one side edge on one side of the internal surface of the metal plate assembly 12. A holding member 19 is arranged on the internal surface of the metal plate assembly 12 to hold the net body 17 at substantially right angles with the internal surface of the metal plate 12. The metal plates 14 have openings 14b cut in one side near the net body 17.
