PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry an object with high yield while shortening the drying time without deforming the object regardless of the type or thickness thereof by irradiating the object effectively and efficiently with far infrared ray of optimal wavelength and an optimal quantity of UV-rays. SOLUTION: The dryer comprises a far infrared radiation unit, and an UV irradiation unit. In the far infrared radiation unit, a plurality of far infrared radiators are arranged on the upper and lower sides of a carrying passage while being shifted from each other. Surface temperature of a during object is set at about 180 deg.-250 deg. by controlling the temperature in a drying chamber of the far infrared radiation unit, the far infrared radiation time, surface temperature of the far infrared radiator, and the distance between the far infrared radiator and the object The object is cooled down to about 80 deg.-180 deg. before entering the UV irradiation unit. The quantity of UV-rays irradiated from a UV irradiator is about 200 mJ/cm2 or above, preferably in the range of about 300-800 mJ/cm2.
|
