<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for mouse which does not require an optical decoder. SOLUTION: This controller for mouse includes an input module, a switching module, and a microcontroller module. The input module generates an input signal from an input terminal. When the mouse is moved by a user, the switching module determines which of XY-axial and Z-axial operations the control state of the mouse indicates and the microcontroller module starts the operation of the mouse from the XY-axial direction to the Z-axial direction so that data displayed on the screen are scrolled up or down according to the movement direction of the operated mouse. On condition that no fitting member is increased and three encoders are necessary, dedicated driving program or programmable integrated circuit constitution, and the application of a conventional mouse microcontroller and a switch are effective in performing the scrolling operation of the mouse.</p> |
