PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting differential characteristics in accordance with the characteristics of an adaptive torque limiter, in a photoreceptor drum driving mechanism using the torque limiter so as to prevent the unevenness and backlash in rotating the photoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: Respective numbers of teeth of a drum driving gear 29, an intermediate gear 32 and a brake gear 30 are set so that a difference between the number of rotation given from a driving shaft 28 through the drum driving gear 29, the intermediate gear 32 and the brake gear 30 to a hollow shaft part 32a on which the brake gear 30 is mounted through the torque limiter 33 and the number of rotation given from the drum gear 21a to the brake gear 30 may be almost a difference between the numbers of rotation in accordance with the characteristics of the torque limiter 33. |
