<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the management of a layer thickness at the stage of leveling with a bulldozer, require a banking compaction machine for applying roll pressure to a leveled surface under management only specified roll-pressure times, and cause no turn back to work. SOLUTION: This system comprises a GPS fixed station installed in or around a banking yard, GPS moving stations installed on the bulldozer and on the banking compaction machine, respectively, quality control means provided in a site management office, calculating means for calculating three-dimensional position coordinates of a roll-pressure surface with the banking compaction machine and a leveled surface with the bulldozer from positioning information received from the GPS fixed station and the GPS moving stations, means for computing an altitude value for the roll-pressure surface on the side of the banking compaction machine and transmitting it to the quality control means, and computing means for acquiring the latest altitude value for the roll-pressure surface from the quality control means on the side of the bulldozer and adding a specified layer thickness to the altitude value for the roll-pressure surface to compute a leveling altitude value.</p> |
