ASSISTING TOOL FOR CASTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting tool for cast fishing easily attachable to a lure to enable safe throw of the lure accurately to a distant fishing point and free from the environmental destruction problem. SOLUTION: A bag 4 for sealing sand 6 and a tab 5 thrust with a fishing hook 3 and attached to a lure 2 are integrally formed with a water-soluble biodegradable material. The sand 6 sealed in the bag 4 acts as a weight in casting to enable the accurate throwing of the lure to a distant fishing point and, after sinking in water, the bag does not restrict the motion of the lure 2 because the bag 4 is separated from the tab 5 in water by the dissolution of the material. There is no destruction of the natural environment because the tab 5 and the bag 4 are decomposed by biodegradation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
