FIELD: cold working of metals by cutting and plastic deforming, possibly working cylindrical surfaces of elongated non-rigid parts with high demands for geometry and surface roughness, for example manufacture of shafts of electric centrifugal oil pumps. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing joined with frame, spindle, cutter head with cutting members, rolling around head with deforming members and pump station for supplying cutting fluid. Two vibration-suppressing supports are stationary mounted in frame; one support is mounted in front of cutter head, another - behind rolling-around head. Inside cutter head centering support with calibrated disc springs is arranged. Struts are rigidly mounted in frame. Spindle has drive pulley and it is mounted in bearing assemblies placed in struts. Cutter head and rolling-around head are mounted on right and left ends of spindle respectively; said heads and vibration-suppressing supports are mounted coaxially. EFFECT: enhanced geometry accuracy and roughness of worked surfaces of elongated non-rigid parts such as shafts due to sustaining constant position of part axis at working it while vibration is suppressed. 1 dwg |
