<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information medium having excellent antifoulling properties of the surface on the recording and/or reproducing beam incident side and excellent error rate characteristics at the time of reproduction even when a fingerprint is stuck to the surface. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information medium is formed so that when a dispersion liquid for evaluation containing 0.4 pts.wt. Kanto loam of a 11th kind of test powder 1 specified in JIS Z8901 as a minute particle substance, 1 pts.wt. triolein as a dispersing medium and 10 pts.wt. methoxypropanol as a diluent is stuck to the surface on the recording and/or reproducing beam incident side of the optical information medium with a certain procedure, the ratio of the surface area occupied by the drops of the dispersion liquid for evaluation stuck to a unit surface area of the surface to which a sticking operation is performed is 6% or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
