<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-density large capacity optical memory device exceeding the diffraction limit of light, by performing positional adjustment between a recording medium, a reflective scattering body, and a light convergence spot. <P>SOLUTION: The optical memory device includes a first positional shift detection means for detecting the positional shift between the recording medium and a light convergence means, a second positional shift detection means for detecting the positional shift between the light convergence means and an optical probe, and a driving means for adjusting the relative position of the recording medium, the light convergence means, and the optical probe, on the basis of the positional shifts by the first and the second positional shift detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
