<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a crystal oscillator which is easily manufactured by improving a joining strength. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is provided for a crystal oscillator which is constituted by joining a quartz piece for oscillator of AT cut and a reinforcing plate provided with a through-hole by means of etching, wherein a quartz wafer for oscillator of AT cut and a reinforcing wafer provided with a plurality of through-holes are directly joined, exciting electrodes are formed on both principal planes of the quartz wafer for oscillator opposed to the through-holes, and drawing electrodes connected with the exciting electrodes are formed on the quartz wafer for oscillator and the reinforcing wafer, and then divided into crystal oscillators each obtained by joining the quartz piece for oscillator and the reinforcing plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
