<p>The wall element, esp. suitable for incorporation in assembled partition walls dividing large interiors into smaller rooms, is designed to facilitate variation and adaptability in extensions in different directions, and it is made up from lattice girders which can be cladded with panels after assembly. These lattice girders (1) comprise square shaped sections pref. made of wood, with an undercut longitudinal groove on each of their lateral surfaces. They can be joined together by panel-shaped pieces which have two or more end face edges standing at right angles to each other, these end face edges are fitted with connecting battens which fit the grooves in the girders. There may in addition be connecting pieces, with battens for the grooves and grooves for the battens. Connecting battens with door or window fittings can also be inserted in the grooves.</p> |
