A resiliently compressible container (17) is enclosed in a rigid casing and with an integral delivery opening. A mechanism opens the supply opening when pressure is exerted on the container and closes the opening when the pressure is relinquished. The container is bubble-shaped with a downwardly aligned opening in the form of a tube, opening into the aperture at the bottom of the casing. The operating mechanism comprises a manually operated leverl (16) by which pressure is applied to the container. The lever moves a slide (20), which as pressure is applied to the container via a further lever (23) releases the opening of the hose but on release of the pressure compresses the tube opening, allowing a measured supply of the contents to be dispensed. The supply containers are in the form of throw-away refill packs.
