<p>Vortical circulation fibre refining pulper, treats unconventional material such as flax, hemp, rags or leather, by moving the rotor into zero clearance with the stator and increasing the normal horsepower drive to the rotor by half or more, so as to generate grinding action. The rotor is retracted and the refined pulp discharged, pref. after automatically sensing that a predetermined refining standard has been reached. Specif. the rotor is frusto-conical.</p> |
