A split image rangefinder screen is for a s.l.r. camera. The screen has several angled segments at varying inclinations to one another so that precision focussing is possible with lenses of different focal lengths, apertures and characteristics. The system covers rangefinder screen possibilities from the in-line wedge structure to a star formation microprism structure.
