<p>The public transport vehicle has a side door with steps fitted in a recess. The door movable between a shut position flush with the coachwork and an open one in a transverse plane passing through the step recess. A support plate shuts off the lateral part of the horizontal plane of the step, and slews about an axis into the shut position when the door is shut. Its spindle can be mounted vertically in two bearings, one in the plane of the step and the other in the vehicle chassis.</p> |
