The flow-meter uses a turbine (6) caused to rotate under the action of the fluid whose flow rate it is desired to measure. The turbine (6) being conductive, at least at the ends of its blades (1), during rotation, each passage of a blade (4) generates Foucault currents in a coil (2) placed in proximity, which currents initiate the decoding of an oscillator including the coil. An electronic circuit supplies a periodic signal whose frequency is equal to the frequency of passage of the blades (1) in front of the coil (2). This frequency is, within a particular range of values, proportional to the flow rate of the fluid driving the turbine. The invention applies in particular to the measurement of the flow of petrol in a motor vehicle. <IMAGE>
