<p>The electrical connector, particularly for electric heating elements having a resistance surrounded by an insulating sleeve with low mechanical strength, is mounted in a support. A tubular element is fixed to the support by one of its extremities, and forms a cradle for an insulating piece which supports the connections between the supply conductors and the heater conductors. The support piece provides a reaction for the forces exerted during assembly. The insulating piece has two channels, separated by a wall, and accepting, one in each channel, the connection between conductor and element. The wall is formed from a section which is separate from the insulating piece and assembled to the latter. The device is intended for a pressuriser in a nuclear power reactor.</p> |
