Apparatus for feeding cut-to-length longitudinal wires to a grid welding machine

The drive of an apparatus for feeding cut-to-length longitudinal wires to a grid welding machine unrolls wire from a wire roller and feeds it to a cutting apparatus. The trimmed end of the wire is collected by a collecting trough. The transport apparatus, the cutting apparatus and the collecting trough form an interconnected unit which can be moved transversely to the longitudinal axis of the wire. Arranged underneath the deposition trough is a table-like structure which has receiving troughs arranged adjacent to one another. The transversely movable collecting trough deposits the cut-to-length wire sections into the individual receiving troughs.
