The accessory for an IC engine recovers fuel vapour accumulated in a vapour filter. It has a first regeneration pipe between the filter and an area under vacuum when the engine is under low load. A second regeneration pipe (11) runs from the filter (8) to a point on the engine intake upstream of a measurement point for the air flow rate. This has a stop valve (18) shutting when the engine is stopped or running at low speed. A flushing fan (16) delivers into the filter at a rate increasing with speed, and is driven (15) from the engine (1). USE/ADVANTAGE - Fuel vapour recovery system for IC engine.
