A device for the gassing of liquids, in particular a solid-liquid suspension mixed with flotation reagents, which is designed as supply conduit through which the to-be-gassed suspension is led and fed into a flotation cell. Openings are provided in a zone of an enclosing wall of the supply conduit, the openings being connected to a means for delivering a gassing medium under pressure, to the suspension. With such a device, it is necessary to obtain an as cohesive and homogeneous as possible suspension/air bubble mixed phase with low flow resistance and unobstructed, low-abrasion operation with an uncomplicated gassing reactor which can be serviced. The invention succeeds in this by providing that the supply conduit has at least two pipe segments which are butt-jointed in a plane at right angles to its axis of flow and which each tightly lie against an end face, and that of these end faces, at least one is designed with grooves for the passage of the gassing medium. In connection therewith, one of the end faces can be smooth and the other designed with grooves. However, it is also possible for both end faces to have grooves. |
