Multi jet gas burner head for tempering elongated profile

Multijet gas burner head for tempering profiles, esp. elongated profiles, which move relative to the burner, has all jets in the same place, in a rectangular array. Pref. the jets for the mixt. components have different geometrical shapes and/or dimensions, at least at the outlets, those for one component being slits along the outside of the head, with (round) holes the second component beetween them. The side sections, with slits, are made separately and welded to the central section, which has holes in series parallel to the slits and with spacing varying along the length, with wider spacing in the middle than at the ends. The central section has a T-shaped profile and the side arms can be integrated with the side pieces to complete a rectangular cross-section. The mixt. components are supplied on the side opposite the jets. Each side section has a rib running along one side for joining it to the central section. The outlet cross-sections of the jets for H2 and O2 are such that the H2/O2 speed rate = 1/3.
