Arrangement for improving the start up and running behaviour of a symmetrical compressed air lamellar motor consisting of a cylindrical stator with inlet and outlet openings. A rotor (1) is concentrically mounted in the stator (2) and longitudinal slots (13) set at the same angle are arranged in the rotor for radially movable lamellae (3) and two adjuster disc (5) each with a control path (6) are provided to control the lamellae. ADVANTAGE - Arrangement which ensures that the torque produced by the motor, especially at low speeds, is always kept constant.
