PURPOSE:To provide the subject material excellent in flame retardancy and desirable for coating an inorganic fiber such as a glass fiber or a flame- retarding organic cloth used in building and construction materials, vehicles, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective material comprises a combination of a coating material comprising a silica sol and a zirconia sol with a synthetic resin emulsion coating agent containing a zirconia sol and optionally an inorganic flame- retardant. |
