Device for compressing cans

A device for compressing cans is described, which does not pollute the environment and is essentially composed of a hydraulic pump which causes a piston to move upwards or downwards. When the piston is pressed downwards, it presses down a plate which compresses the can. On the lower inside section there is provided an oil collecting groove which guides all the residues remaining in the can into a collecting vessel.
