The invention specifies an aluminium frame profile for security windows or doors with bulletproof glazing. The frame profile has an exterior part, an interior part and a thermally insulating interconnection zone which connects the exterior and interior parts to one another, provision being made for a bulletproof frame-profile reinforcement zone formed by accumulations of material. According to the invention, the bulletproof reinforcement zone is designed as an integral component of the second frame profile part. In contrast to conventional security windows or doors, windows or doors which are provided with the frame profile according to the invention cannot be recognised as security windows or security doors.
